She calls herself Mrs Sonny Bill Williams and when she met the object of her affection for the first time at Bayfair, Rosie McCormack said the sporting phenomenon was "much nicer" than she imagined.
Mrs McCormack is a self-confessed Williams fan and spent hours in a queue yesterday, battling young rugby boys and teenage girls to make sure she was the first person to get her idol's signature.
"Who wouldn't like him? I mean, oh my God, he's gorgeous," she said.
Hundreds of eager fans got signatures from All Blacks Richard Kahui and Aaron Cruden when the first half of the team visited the centre between 4-5pm. Williams was in the second group which visited from 5-6pm. Once Williams arrived on site, the whistling, cheering and clapping was deafening.
