Wanganui's squash youngsters will have a chance for a fun hit this Sunday with the Wanganui Squash Club hosting their Prince Series Junior Tournament.
Club administrative assistant Phillipa Harold said the fun event was J-Grade level, but counted towards club points for the Central Squash region competition, with the bestplayers going on to the high achievers' list.
But the main theme would be having a good time, which was why the club had put on a low entry free to also attract out-of-towners, Harold said.
They can get a certificate and a soft drink at the end.
The play will be for 7-year-olds up to about 15, with most entrants able to play three games on the Sunday.
Games start at 10am, with prizegiving and nibbles in the afternoon.
Entry is $5, and can be made by heading online to the website wanganuisquash@inspire.net.nz or by calling/texting 027 526 7211. Please include child's name, age, code and a contact phone number.
