It is a tough looking Quaddie that looms during this evening's Wanganui Hatrick meeting at the Hatrick Raceway.

Here is a look at some of the leading contenders for it, which as usual covers the last four races on the card.

And don't forget you don't have to take a full unit percentage betting is available on this option.

Leg 1 (race 9, 8.15pm): This is probably the toughest leg, where any of the eight sprinters here could win without surprising.

Include the widely drawn pair of kennelmates Sir Richie and Stock Taker. Both of them have endured luckless recent sprints and if either of them can lead this field out, then they are capable of taking this dash out.

Both Belkara and Finger Pop have recently been relegated from the open class sprinting ranks, so a competitive sprint from both of them can be expected here.

Leg 2: The exciting chaser Speed Legend is making his open class debut in this 520m event.

Again, he has drawn out in the eight trap from where he has convincingly crunched his rivals in his last two outings.

Ate To Much was an easy winner of last week's version of this race and he is more than capable of being able to serve up a repeat dose this evening.

Others to consider here are the consistent El Jetta, while Pink Sock owns sufficient strength to make things rather interesting at the business end.

Leg 3: Rosemore Osti has effectively used her preferred inside draw in her last two sprints here to deliver strong wins in meeting best 305m times.

She has drawn poorly here, however she is smart enough to make it a hat-trick of wins.

Surprisingly Stiff completely bombed the start from his favoured inside trap last Friday. Forget that and include him here.

Bee Rabbit has been the victim of some lousy recent racing luck. Don't overlook his claims in this dash. And although it was lower grade sprint that Ate Pizza won last Friday, consider him here as he is quite capable of being able to deliver a sharp sprint.

Leg 4: A run of lousy recent draws finally comes to end for Wild Punting here.

He won the Auckland-hosted Group 2 Railway Sprint from the ace trap in March and he has drawn that desired trap tonight.

Hypotential isn't the quickest away from the traps, but there is no denying his power at the business end. Watch for him to be sighted rattling home late as seen in last pair of wins here.

Of the others, both Eruza and Run Stacey Run both could feature in this dash.
