Waverley Golf Club has received some international recognition as industry website top100golfcourses.com has included the course on its Top 50 New Zealand courses for 2017.
The club, previously unknown to the website staff, was discovered and debuts at No31 on the list.
The other ranked local course is Wanganui GolfClub, with the Belmont Links coming in No29.
