While New Zealand Under 19 turned around their fortunes in the Tri-Series with victory over Australia on Saturday, Wanganui's Henry Collier still struggles at the top of the order.
After New Zealand won the toss, Collier was first man out in the fourth over for a duck at Darwin's MarraraCricket Ground, before his team recovered to finish 225-9 from their 50 overs.
Collier's opening partner Rakitha Weerasundara anchored the innings with 76 off 105 balls.
The Kiwi bowlers put in a collective effort to set up a 24-run victory, restricting the Aussies to 201-9. Medium packer Jack Hunter picked up 3-27, including two quick wickets at the top of the innings to put the home team on the back foot.
Wanganui bowler Nick Blundell did not play in the match.
New Zealand have their last Tri-Series game against India on Wednesday, after which they will either make the final or play a consolation game against Northern Territory.
