Marton Golf Club's Dave Tarrant hit the sixth hole-in-one of his career on Saturday with a 144m ace.
"The pin was right at the back of the green, probably about 144m," Tarrant said.
He wasn't sure of the ball had gone in until he and his playing group got to
the green on the par three sixth.
"They were all pretty excited," Tarrant said. "We had a shout for the people in the clubhouse. It was nice."
It was a bit of a surprise "but that's what you aim to do in golf".
Tarrant has been playing golf for about 55 years and all six of his aces have been at the Marton Golf Club on the sixth, third and 12th.
