A feature sprint final kick starts this evening's TAB Quaddie, Race 9 at 8.25pm at the Hatrick Raceway.

Secret Sprite won a lead in heat for this final last Friday, cutting out the 305m dash in a handy 17.48 seconds.

A repeat of that time can see her serving up a repeat dose to his rivals here.

However, lurking down in the one trap is Little Rascal, who finished two lengths behind her.

She is known for her early pace and she can quite easily reverse last week's result.

Swapan won his lead in heat in 17.61 seconds. He draws the seven trap from where he must begin quickly.

Waterbug can sprint handy to the pace and she can feature at the business end here.

The second leg sees in-form Ate To Much draw the eight trap. He won strongly from there three races ago in a heat of the Brad Canty Wanganui Cup.

He then ran third in the Group 1 final and then backed that up with bold Group 2 second over 457m at Cambridge. Respect.

Mammy Brown is making her open class debut in this event.

She gave every indication that she can handle the rigours of open class chasing by winning a lower grade 520m in 30.09 seconds last Friday.

She won that from the ace trap and she has drawn that trap tonight.

Barry's Way is a proven chaser at this level while Buddy Broke, although racing out of class, is more than capable of featuring by using the powerful finish that he owns.

Run Lacy Run is in career best form as seen by her smart last three wins here.

She posted a meeting best 17.47 seconds in the 305m sprint last Friday and has drawn to serve up a repeat dose from trap one in the third leg.

Posing the biggest threat is Rosemore Osti who was a 17.59 second winner last week.

She prefers drawing close to the rail, so being out in the seven trap isn't exactly where she wants to be. She can negate that by taking a flyer when the traps lift.

Others to consider in this dash are Leadfoot Lenny and Homebush Helen.

It could be an all-red racing vest Quaddie here as the sharp sprinter Complicit has also drawn the coveted one trap in the final leg.

He has recently returned from a spell and having had two races back should see him ready to resume his winning habit.

Railer Darlyne Ottey has drawn the eight trap, however her known pace can see her spearing up onto the early pace.

Another Colt and Enazuma will be looking for this pair to make a mistake and they are both capable of being able to capitalise if that occurs.
