Tara Raj's unbeaten streak came to an end on Friday at the women's Toro Interprovincial at New Plymouth's Westown Golf Club.

Playing No1 for the Manawatu-Wanganui team, Raj lost to Alanna Campbell in their rescheduled matchup with Bay of Plenty in the morning, held after the rain saw half a day's play lost on Thursday.

Her teammates fared little better in the 5-0 loss.

Manawatu Wanganui then took on home side Taranaki in the final pool game and were beaten 3.5-1.5, with Raj losing to Celeste McLean 2-1.

Auckland, Canterbury, Bay of Plenty and Wellington were the eventual semifinalists, with Auckland going on to beat Bay of Plenty in the final.
