Local golfers take up the top three spots in the Manawatu/Wanganui foursome to contest the upcoming New Zealand Women's Inter-District Masters.
Trialists for the team played in two of the three 54-hole trial days, held at the Levin Championship Course over February and March.
They played gross stableford, all scorescounting towards the final tally, with the team selected from the top four totals.
Marton's Jenny Ritchie was leading over the first two trials and also scored a hole in one during one of the trial rounds.
Wanganui Golf Club's Caroline Scott did not play in the middle trial but had a great second trial to surpass Ritchie by one point over the six-round totals.
Jill Hall of Rangitikei played steadily to claim the third spot in the team and Karen Manninen (Manawatu) edged out a late charge by improving Levin player Joanne Wilton to claim the fourth spot. All four have been inter-provincial representative players previously.
