After the success of the inaugural event last year, the Waverley Triathlon is on again tomorrow around the township.
The water leg in the inland town consists of 1-2 laps of the 33-metre Waverley pool, followed by bike rides down the side streets off State Highway 3, and then therun around the rugby field at Dallison Park.
There will be three age groups in the event, which is free to enter.
The 8-12 year olds, who made up the biggest group in 2014, will do one lap of the pool, bike 1.5km on a circuit out from Chester St and up to Fookes St, down the neighbouring Bear St and Hussey St from the park.
The 13-17 group will do two laps of the pool, 66m, then bike 3.5km on a longer biking course, which extends down Gloag St, before returning to the Border Rugby Club's home ground for a 2km run.
Competitors in the Open grade (18+ years), will also swim two laps, then take the longest 6.4km cycle down to Swinbourne St, before turning at Bassey St and back to the clubrooms for a 3km run.
Registration starts at 8am tomorrow, or a form can be picked up before the event from Waverley LibraryPlus.
Helmets must be worn and, if a competitor does not own a bike, they can run or walk that leg.
