From the dawn's early light until the nearly the midnight hour the inline hockey action has been continuous at the inter-regional championships at the Jubilee Stadium over Labour Weekend.
Around 350 players have been contesting 10 grades from junior teams playing best-of-three series, along with five Open teams selected fromplayers around the country.
In the Women's Open, Team Pink which includes Whanganui's Sophie Walker, have been taking on Team Purple in three games.
The Men's Open consists of three teams in a round-robin format, with Team Blue including Whanganui's Nathan Sergent and the O'Donnell's - James and Kieran - going against Team Yellow and Team Green.
Blue had a 4-4 draw with Yellow in their first game on Saturday, while Pink were beaten by Purple 5-3.
The other squads were split in Northern, Central and Lower North squads, with Central dominating the children's grades.
Matches started at lunchtime on Friday and continued on till around 11pm, and then started again on Saturday and yesterday at 7.10am, carrying on till after 11.30pm.
The final matches will be held today, concluding around 3pm with the presentation of trophies and awards.
