The hosting St John's Club team had the best three days last week for the annual Clubs New Zealand North Island Golf Tournament.
The medal competition section of the tournament was played at the alternating Belmont Links and Castlecliff courses from Thursday to Friday.
St John's finished with the bestgross at 480, followed by Pio Pio Cosmopolitan Club's 492 and Porirua Club Inc's 500, with Wanganui Cosmopolitan Club just a point behind Porirua.
In the net, St John's finished with 416, ahead of Porirua and Pio Pio on 417.
Over 300 golfers entered, with about 150 in the medal competition.
