It's a 14 race afternoon card to wrap up the 2016 Hatrick racing activities, with the first race being dispatched from the 305m traps at 12.09pm.

The feature 520m event is the Liquorland Wanganui C4, jumping at 2.46pm (Race 10).

All eight greyhounds drawn in the field was provided from the Lisa Ahern kennels, who still maintains a comfortable lead over John McInerney in the National Trainers' Premiership.

The scratching of Timma Turtle, who is required to race in this evening's $10,000 Waikato Cup, lets in a Matt Roberts trained runner.

It remains an extremely even, competitive looking line-up with the rush into the first turn likely to have a major bearing on the race result.

Frappucino holds the draw advantage after being allocated the one-trap to step away from. He is a proven chaser from that desired draw.

Mark's Boy came off second best against gun chasers in last Saturday's 457m Waikato Cup heat, however his return to Hatrick can see him making his presence felt.

Absinthe Minded receives a bonus C4 outing here thanks to his 30.41s 520m win last Friday, which saw him regaining his open class status.

The claims held by Bigtime Jason and Sheer Miss cannot be lightly dismissed.

The Ahern-trained short course sprinters Allegro Gun and Skuzi will also be absent from the Race 5 open class 305m dash, after having qualified for Cambridge finals.

That looks to have left the way clear for a similar result from last Friday's version of this 305m sprint.

Lover, from the Angela Turnwald kennels, prevailed then when leading home the locally Freddy Kite prepared Sedgebrook Babe.

They appeal as the quinella combination again.

It is a huge evening of chasing action at the Cambridge Raceway where numerous greyhounds who would normally be sighted at Hatrick having qualified for feature finals.

Included is the recent $40,000 Spion Rose winner here Top Prosecutor from the Turnwald kennels who will contest the Waikato Cup (Race 10).

He will be joined by his kennelmate Paul Dozer, along with Timma Turtle in this event.

Ahern has three runners in the $20,000 Palamountains Nutrition Waikato Classic (Race 9) at Group 2 level.

Spare Some Time, Allegro Gun and Map My Run will represent her in the 457m event.
Marton trainer Matt Roberts has qualified Cawbourne Nath and Cawbourne Jarrod for this final.
