There's no greyhound racing at Hatrick this evening, however the Wanganui club will host a fundraising evening at the raceway for the Wanganui Cancer Society.

A twilight race meeting will be held at the Manawatu Raceway as the greyhound code gets involved in the City of Palmerston North tri-code weekend of Gold Cup racing.

Nine feature races from 3.35pm will ensure high quality chasing action will be.

The $15,000 Palmerston North Gold Cup (Race 9) at Group 2 level is the feature 457m event and the New Zealand Cup winner American Warrior has been installed as the warm favourite to take the event out.

Included on the card is the four dog shootout paw wrestle, over the extreme 766m staying test, in the Arch Lawrence Distance Invitation (Race 8) which features the strong recent Hatrick 755m feature winner Shandell.
