The Wanganui Intermediate Schools sailing regatta was held on Pauri Lake last weekend.

Competing in overcast and breezy conditions, six schools took part - Okoia, Westmere, Fordell, Kaitoki, Wanganui Intermediate and St Georges - sailing in teams of three in Optimists.

In the Education Services Teams Trophy event, there was a tie between St Georges and Fordell.

Fordell won the sail off so their school took home both trophies.

Results: Education Services Teams Trophy: 1. Fordell School (Purple); 2. St Georges (White); 3. Wanganui Intermediate (Orange).
