As well as the big boys, tomorrow will be a celebration of the youngsters of Wanganui rugby and they have a licence to run at Cooks Gardens.

The finals of the 2013 Country Schools Rugby Sevens will be held about 1.45pm, side by side.

Games were held at Springvale Park and Taihape Domain on August 14-15 to find the northern and southern champions in two divisions, Year 7-8 and Year 4-6.

In the older year group, Fordell School won the southern tournament, beating Westmere Primary in the final.

Tomorrow Fordell will meet Ohakune Primary School after they saw off Hunterville School in the northern final.

For the younger boys, it is Waverley Primary School meeting Hunterville School to decide the supreme sevens team.

Jordan Farrington, WRFU community rugby development officer, said 12 teams entered the northern tournaments while 22 took part in the southern tournaments.

Other representative players from Wanganui High School and Cullinane College helped with the refereeing.
