This evening's TAB Quaddie at the Hatrick Raceway promises to be a real test.

What that means is that a rather healthy dividend is likely to be declared. After all, similar fields last Friday saw a return of $2127.60 being posted.

The box draw has made the first leg particularly tough looking.

There is no question that the class greyhound in this field is Monday's Manawatu 375m winner Darlene Ottey.

However, this railing chaser has drawn upside down for her racing style after being allocated trap seven. Even so, she must be respected.

Fiery Dancer has drawn the ace trap, from where she missed the only previous time she jumped from there, plus she also took a tumble here last Friday.

She must be considered based on her prior strong 305m win.

English Honey is the greyhound who adds intrigue to this field.

The recent Aussie import is making her New Zealand debut in this sprint. Her claims cannot be ignored.

Include Visionary Man in the combos purely because of the manner that this field is drawn. He is likely to receive all the clear racing room he needs after leaping from trap eight.

The intermediate graded 520m chasers get to feature in the second Quaddie leg.

El Jetta has drawn to go back-to-back after delivering his strong lower grade 520m win last Friday.

Seven Iron is in a similar position following her tidy Auckland 527m win on Sunday.

Another last start winner lining up is Monday's Manawatu 457m victor Hello Ello. She is quite capable of being able to contest the pace throughout.

Blue Curly adds to the intrigue this field presents as she is quickly fashioning a tidy career record.

And watch for Buddy Broke to be sighted steaming home late here.

On to leg three where the recently downgraded open class sprinters Kinetic Rio, Hot King Cole and Where's Chicken have to be considered. Wee Digger and Scott No Money are other sprinters in this field for whom a winning case can be built for.

It gets no easier in the final Quaddie leg where Uno Allegro has been treated kindly by the draw after being allocated the ace trap to exit from.

Former open class sprinters in this dash who have to be considered are Donkey Deep and Swapan.

And the claims owned by both Almost Got it and Explodable cannot be lightly dismissed.
