For the junior soccer coaches in charge of First Kicks, Saturday's opening day was a logistical nightmare they loved to have.
Expecting perhaps around 120 youngsters, aged 4-6, there was a mountain of registrations on the morning for the introduction programme that organisers had to sort through.
More shirts will
have to be ordered to outfit all the kids, who will get to keep them at the end of the 16 weeks.
Junior co-ordinator Jason King said because of the demand, they went away from the skills session set-up and straight into pickup games.
This coming week, when everything can start regularly, they will go back to the rotating stations formula although coaches will have to now accommodate around 180 children plus their families.
