Expectations will be high for the Wanganui Masters Squash Club squad after they were named second seeds for the New Zealand Masters team championships next weekend.
The Dentists-sponsored side will contest the title at Lower Hutt's Mitchell Park Squash Club from July 12-14.
They will be led by No1 playerand upcoming New Zealand representative Rod Bannister.
Joining him is Ant Roundtree, Arno Benadie, Barry Touzel, John Roestenburg and manager Paul Kenny. The side received the No2 seeding behind the hosts and 2012 champions Mitchell Park, who they will play in the last match on Sunday afternoon, July 14.
The top four seeds at the tournament, commonly called Superchamps for Masters, also includes the 2001 champions Squash Gym Palmerston North and the Kapiti Squash Club.
