The West Coast Bombers travelled to Palmerston North during the weekend to face Swamp City's club B-team, the "Badda Bings", on their home turf at Arena Manawatu.
In a close game, Badda Bings got home 187-155 with some good play in the final jams.
Watched by a good crowd ofPalmerston North supporters and travelling Whanganui fans, the Bombers kept their opposition scoreless in the first 10 minutes to take a commanding lead, but the Badda Bings eventually found their groove and displayed some impressive set piece play.
Bombers led 98-77 at halftime.
The home team finally drew level with four minutes left to play, and then led by their Team NZ player Justine Saunders Badda Bings picked up the win.
