Sunday will be the big climax to the Wanganui Motorcycle Club's Winter Series with upwards of 120 bikes expected at the Oceanview Speedway for motocross action.
The round is the fourth in a shorter series which started in May after the April edition was canned due to poor weather.
Itwill be on for young and old with competitors aged 5-18 taking part in the youth grades, going on through to the veteran races.
Club spokeswoman Aroha Reardon said a number of promising riders are coming through in the 14-16 grade, which is a combined 125-250cc class.
In the A Grade, top riders such as Lachie Cotton and Dylan Hollenback will be battling for podium positions.
