What's happening with abandoned Gonville service station?

Whispers have been circulating around Whanganui about what's happening at the abandoned Gonville Service Station.

For more than a decade the service station, located on the corner of Carlton Ave and Heads Rd, has been out of action.

But co-owner Jill Mooney said there are exciting things to come.

"I can't comment at the moment on what is happening but in a few weeks we will be able to talk about it."
