The pools at Whanganui's Splash Centre are open again today. Photo file / Bevan Conley

A burst pipe at Whanganui's main indoor swim spot closed all the Splash Centre pools on Sunday.

When the pipe burst all the water mains had to be turned off and the centre couldn't open, a spokesperson said.

Contractors were called in and made up a new pipe, but the glue needed time to cure before the pool could re-open.

It's business as usual today, the spokesperson said.
