Hill also pleaded guilty to unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, failing to stop for police, driving in a dangerous manner and failing to answer district court ordered bail.
Police prosecutor Stephen Butler said Hill drove in a dangerous manner on SH3 on March 7 this year at 11.42pm.
"Police attempted to stop her and she drove at speeds of 160 kilometres per hour. While being pursued she crossed the centre line on a number of occasions," Butler said.
"She wasn't located. She was susequently spoke to at a later date and stated she was driving and didn't stop because she knew there was a warrant out for her arrest."
The warrant was out after a victim met Hill and offered her accommodation for the night at the Aztec Motel in Palmerston North on January 9.
"Shortly after midnight, the defendant asked to borrow the victim's motor vehicle to go for a drive," Butler said.
"The victim agreed to allow the defendant to borrow the vehicle, but said he needed it back at 8am. He left his wallet in the car. She didn't return the vehicle."
Judge Dugald Matheson sentenced Hill to 12 months' supervision, disqualified her from driving for 12 months and ordered her to pay $250 reparation.
"Ms Hill you come to the court as a 30-year-old with no record. You leave court with a record of some substance," Judge Matheson said.
"It's clear to me that your life has come unstuck in recent times. I gather from your counsel that it has become unstuck as a result of problems with alcohol, drugs and gambling."
