Winds are expected to be gentle to moderate throughout the three days, increasing slightly as the fronts pass over the region on Friday and Sunday afternoon.
“We’ve got westerly winds throughout, and they might get a little stronger Friday afternoon as that weak front comes through.
“A few showers, slightly stronger winds, but nothing too dramatic, [a] reasonably light onset.”
She said winds would gradually increase to a moderate strength on Sunday.
Daytime high temperatures are expected to be 23C on Friday, 22C on Saturday and 23C on Sunday.
“Not super hot, but appropriately summery.”
Overnight lows of 16C on Friday, 11C on Saturday and 14C on Sunday are forecast.
“It’s looking like a pretty good summer weekend for the most part.”
