The Carlton Ave dairy was robbed on Wednesday afternoon.

The Carlton Ave dairy was robbed on Wednesday afternoon.

Whanganui police are investigating a robbery at a dairy on Carlton Ave.

A spokeswoman said the robbery was reported just after 1pm on Wednesday.

"No one was seriously injured and there were no reports of weapons," she said.

Some items were stolen but the spokeswoman was unable to provide details of what was taken.

Police inquiries were continuing, she said.
