Whanganui Police are viewing CCTV footage after a Whanganui River Rd property was burgled.

A spate of burglaries and thefts from vehicles is keeping Whanganui police busy.

Senior Sergeant Shayne Wainhouse said police were reviewing CCTV footage from the Whanganui River Rd after people were reported entering a property at Parikino about 3.30pm on Sunday, May 13.

"Wires were cut to the property and people were observed entering it," Wainhouse said.

"The Whanganui River Rd has CCTV cameras on it and we have identified a vehicle involved and are working to find the occupants."

It was not known whether anything was stolen from the property.
