Truck driver hurt

A driver received minor injuries after a truck left the road on State Highway 3 between Marangai and Warrengate Rds about 6pm on Thursday, July 19.

He did not require hospital treatment. The truck had to be towed away and the road was cleared by 8.45pm.

The driver of a truck that crashed near the junction of State Highways 1 and 54 near Hunterville on Thursday morning was uninjured.

Police were searching for a man on the run after an attack at a Himatangi Beach property on Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the scene around 10.30am with reports of an altercation between two men.

"One man has been left with cuts to his hand but injuries are minor," a police spokeswoman said.
