Whanganui Intermediate School production of Little Mermaid.
Whanganui Intermediate School is bringing its production The Little Mermaid to the Royal Wanganui Opera House stage.
With fabulous, shimmering costumes combined with stunning singing and dancing, the cast will transport the audience to another world.
In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel (Eliza Maxey), longs toleave her ocean home – and her fins – behind and live in the world above.

But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton (Ratu Latus) and make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula (Zyres Work).
With the help of her friends Sebastian (Malachi Tangira), Flounder (Zoe Bullock)and Scuttle (Ivan Adams), Ariel must convince the handsome Prince Eric (Manila Malili Malo-Lauano) that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking.
Directed by music teacher Roz Armstong, the production has a cast of 100 and a crew of 20 students supported by teachers and parents.
