What: Film Night: Denis O’Connor ‘Mindspaces, the Artist’s Studio’. Mindspaces is a documentary narrated by current Tylee Cottage resident, the acclaimed New Zealand sculptor and writer Denis O’Connor. He travels to Ireland, the UK and France to discuss, together with prominent art historians, archaeologists, curators and Gallery Directors, the studio spaces of Lucien Freud and Francis Bacon. O’Connor also takes us into his Waiheke studio which he has occupied for more than 50 years. The documentary will be followed by a conversation with Greg Donson, the Sarjeant’s Curator and Public Programmes Manager
