CREATIONS
What: A group of five artists displaying locally made handcrafts. The artists are present each day and welcome discussing any aspects of their work. Workshops are available on request for a number of different crafts.

GIRLS' COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS What: If your daughter enrols at Wanganui Girls' College for 2016, for Year 9, scholarships are available for academia, culture and sport worth hundreds of dollars.

WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?
What: Amdram's latest production and Joan Street's final directing role. Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is a classic American comic drama about marriage. It contains characters larger than life - loving, cruel, outrageous, funny, stunning and engrossing. Made famous by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in the film of the same name, this has been a play Joan has always wanted to present to Whanganui and she is honoured to have the finest local actors on board. Containing adult themes, this play is raw theatre at its best.
When: Friday, November 20 and Saturday November 21 at 7.30pm.
Where: Amdram Theatre, Guyton St.
Admission: Adult $25, Senior/Student $20. Book at the Royal Wanganui Opera House. POULTRY CLUB
What: For poultry enthusiasts and those who would like to be. Cuppa and sales table (midday-12.30pm) followed by discussion on "How to Judge Poultry Eggs". There will then be an Egg Competition, open to anyone who owns laying poultry. Contact the club for details.
When: Saturday, November 21, midday to 2pm.

WANGANUI FLORAL ART GROUP
What: Bring floral art back to the future. Yesterday and Today floral art exhibition, sales table, plants and produce, competitive floral art show, cafe on site, raffles, prizes.
When: Saturday, November 21, 10am-4pm; Sunday, November 22, 10am-3pm.
Where: Heritage House, 136 St Hill St.
WHANGANUI SCIENCE FORUM
What: Talk by Professor Ralph Chapman, Victoria University, Wellington, on his book Time of Useful Consciousness: Acting Urgently on Climate Change. What actions are truly vital and will we take them?
When: November 24 at 7.30pm.
Where: Davis Lecture Theatre, Whanganui Regional Museum, Watt St.
Admission: Members $2 and others $3.
ADVENT REFLECTION DAY
When: Saturday, November 28, 10am-3pm. With Maureen Calman. Please bring lunch.

TENNIS COACHING
What: Subsidised coaching for juniors.
When: Two sessions after school for one hour on Wednesdays in term four.

COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS
What: The Compassionate Friends Wanganui support group for bereaved parents.
When: First Saturday of each month at 11am.

EMBROIDERERS
What: Wanganui Embroiderers' Guild. Weekly meetings of like-minded women in the art of needlework.

NO LIGHTS, NO LYCRA
What: No teacher, no steps to learn, no technique, just free movement. No Lights No Lycra is a space to dance like no one is watching.
When: Every Saturday from 8-9pm. BUT NOT THIS SATURDAY.
Where: 17 Taupo Quay, Whanganui, above Renata's Art and Framing.
Cost: $5 entry.
PETRE 60S UP
What: A variety of programmes, outings and day trips.
When: 3rd Wednesday of the month, 2pm.
