THIS I BELIEVE ... WITH HARETE HIPANGO
What: Harete is a lawyer and Whanganui local. She and husband Dean MacFater are mana whenua, with Harete affiliated with Te Atihaunui a Paparangi, Ngati Apa and Nga Rauru. Born, raised and educated in Whanganui, she graduated in 1991 with an LL.B and has
worked in general practice in family, mental health, youth justice child welfare, criminal, Maori land and mediation. She has served on Whanganui DHB and is Whanganui electorate MP. The talk will be followed by questions and supper.
