COTTON-ON QUILTERS
What: We are a group of likeminded people that meet to share our knowledge about all things patchwork. We sew, stitch, chatter, knit, we have speakers - a very social day! Bring your lunch and join us!

TAI CHI FOR HEALTH
What: Modified form of tai chi for health. Suitable all ages and all levels of fitness, especially mature folk.

ART FIX
What: Greg Donson Curator and Public Programmes Manager chats about art works featured in the exhibition Vignettes: 30 Years at Tylee Cottage. He will discuss some of the more unusual materials that have been used by artists to create works during their residency.

A SOUND PERFORMANCE
What: Susan Frykberg: It shows really, a rather beautiful spirit. To compliment her new exhibition, sound artist and composer Susan Frykberg has created a performance piece in response to the life and art of Edith Collier. Frykberg will be accompanied by musician Ingrid Culliford, actor Kerry Girdwood and others for an immersive and multi-sensory experience.
When: Saturday, February 11 at 2pm and 3pm.
Cost: Free, but sessions limited to 30 people each. Booking essential on 06 349 0506.

A BLUEGRASS CONCERT
What: The Company - In Concert. A Valentine's Day concert! High-energy original and traditional acoustic bluegrass music. Nashville-based, New Zealand-born George Jackson on fiddle and banjo, Brisbane's guitar guru Jamie Clark, tenor vocals and mandolin of Townsville native Michael Patrick and Norwegian-born double bassist Markus Karlsen.

TUI MOTU GROUP
What: A discussion of selected articles from the current Tui Motu booklet. CREATIONS GALLERY 'N' GIFTS
What: Five local artists' art is on display for sale. One of the artists is in the Gallery each day and can explain the concept of their art which includes personalised adults' and children's quilts, up-cycled treasures, garden art, copper sculptures, fabric organic lavender sachets, Powertex figurines, chalk-paint articles, and we take bookings for workshops. Guest Artist for February is Tania Warbrick, a Whanganui-based photographer who enjoys capturing images of all kinds. Her special interest in close-up photography is taking a subject and photographing it as a part, sometimes seen for the full beauty of what makes it up.
