Police were called to Whanganui Girls' College after it went into lockdown this morning.
One person was taken into police custody and will be appearing in Youth Court on Friday after an incident which put Whanganui Girls' College is in lockdown on Thursday morning.
A police spokeswoman said police were called to the school in Jones St at 9.15am due to a student "causinga bit of an issue at the school".
The school had put itself into lockdown as a precaution and the issue has now been resolved, she said.
