The team representing Whanganui will have a great opportunity to win a New Zealand title when the National Interclub finals get underway at the Silverstream Bowling Club in Upper Hutt on Saturday.

The Premier 2 team from Aramoho Bowling Club won the right to get to nationals at the regional playoff, held at the new Naenae Sports Centre in Lower Hutt on February 10.

They will play five other clubs from around New Zealand who won their regional playoffs.

The team is:
Singles: Ray Wilson; Pairs: Ron Hutchinson (s), Russell Terrey; Fours: John Belliss (s), Allan Raisin, Gary Mitchell, Rangi Johnson. Manager: Mike Morgan.
