The Murray Baker/Andrew Forsman combination hold a strong hand in both Listed races at the Wanganui spring meeting on Saturday.
The Cambridge trainers saddle up Jackalberry gelding Botti and Darci Brahma filly Red Beach in the Listed $50,000 HS Dyke Wanganui Guineas and Savabeel filly Peaceful in the Listed $50,000 The O'Learys Stakes against her own age group.
Botii, a half brother to classy, but ill-fated galloper Lion Tamer and the talented Let Me Roar, won on debut as a two-year-old as did Red Beach before being put aside for a brief time to prepare for their three-year-old debuts on Saturday.
"Botti didn't have too much time off after his debut win and is forward enough, it's just whether he gets through that ground," Forman said.
