A 30-year-old man and 31-year-old woman arrested by Whanganui police on Monday night are expected to appear in Whanganui District Court on multiple charges on Tuesday. Photo / Bevan Conley

Whanganui Police arrested a 30-year-old man who was wanted on Monday night.

The man was arrested at a residential address without incident.

The man has been charged with a range of offences including using a firearm against police, receiving stolen property, possession of methamphetamine and methamphetamine for supply, selling cannabis and methamphetamine, failing to stop for police and operating a motor vehicle recklessly.

He is due to appear in Whanganui District Court today.

Two other people were also arrested at the same address on Monday night for unrelated matters.

A 31-year-old woman was arrested on drugs related charges and will be appearing in Whanganui District Court today.

A 53-year-old man was also arrested on drugs related charges and has been bailed to appear in Whanganui District Court on April 23.
