The People's Choice wins $10,000 for their chosen charity, and if Allan Anderson wins he will donate the money to the Bushy Park wildlife reserve on the outskirts of Wanganui.

Popular Wanganui conservationist Allan Anderson is one of 24 finalists in the prestigious Pride of New Zealand Awards which includes a People's Choice award chosen by online voting.

The People's Choice wins $10,000 for their chosen charity, and if Allan wins he will donate the money to the Bushy Park wildlife reserve on the outskirts of Wanganui - a conservation area to which he has devoted many years service.

The Chronicle is backing Allan's cause is urging readers to vote for him.
