The union representing workers at The Warehouse says its members are frustrated by a lack of support from the company.
According to FIRST Union's Whanganui organiser, Kay Hearfield, The Warehouse told staff around the country it was considering making 180 managers and supervisors redundant.
Staff were presented with a proposal
to respond to before Sunday, July 15.
Hearfield said there were 14 members who worked at The Warehouse who might lose their jobs.
She said she was meeting members to get their feedback on the proposal but many were uneasy about what was to come.
