Collectors of china will have plenty to tempt them at the Retro Vintage Collectors Fair on Saturday and Sunday.
An eclectic mix of collectibles will be up for grabs at the Retro Vintage Collectors Fair in Whanganui.
The fair, organised by the St John Op Shop, will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 11-12, and includes items from the St John shop as well as private stallholders.
"Wehave a lot of art glass, English bone china, three shooting sticks, trinkets and other collectibles," St John Op Shop manager Fiona Sibbald said.
"We also have 10 stallholders coming and had inquiries from at least another 12 who were interested in having stalls. There is a strong market for vintage collectibles."
Entry is by gold coin (free entry for children) and the proceeds, along with the stallholders' fee, will go to St John in Whanganui. Ms Sibbald said she expected the money raised would be used to assist with work on the ambulance station.
The fair is on from 10am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday at 25 Tawa St. There is parking available on the field next to the venue and entry is through the side door of the St John building.
