It's almost time for Whanganui's biggest annual winter swim. The More FM Polar Plunge is at Castlecliff Beach at midday on Sunday, June 24.
With prizes for best costume and loads of freezing fun guaranteed, swimmers are invited to the Duncan Pavilion by 11.30am for a debrief before the plunge, thena count down, after which everyone will run to the water.
Afterwards, everyone is invited to the Castlecliff Club on Tennyson Street for a sausage sizzle and the official prize giving. Participants will also get a certificate.
