Talented young Whanganui players Harry Symes and Dylan Gallien will get their opportunity in the Hurricanes Under 20's squad as they face the Chiefs Under 20's in Taupo tomorrow.

Border winger Symes and Taihape hooker Gallien have been called into the squad as reserves after a series of injury withdrawals.

They will join expat Whanganui player Cody Hemi, who starts the 80 minute match at fullback.

"It's good to see some Heartland guys in there, and obviously Dylan and Harry played the NZ Heartland Under 19's last year," said manager Chris Back.

"It's good development going forward."

The Hurricanes Under 20's lost their first game in early March to the Blues U20's 36-12, so will be eager to get their first win.

Kickoff is 1.30pm.
