Competitors added finishing touches as the cut event drew to a close at the NZARH regional hair stylist awards on Sunday.

The biennial New Zealand Association of Registered Hairdressers awards held at the St Johns Club in Glasgow St on Sunday was a dazzling affair.

The competitions were open to Whanganui and Palmerston North hairdressers who are members of NZARH and there were new generation stylist and senior categories in each event which included cutting, styling, hair by night, colouring, barbering and make-up.
