Supporting Relay For Life is a real family affair for the Fordell Education team.
The team is made up of nine Fordell School, Preschool and Playgroup mums who will take part in the Whanganui Cancer Society's 2019 Relay For Life at Cooks Gardens on Saturday, March 23.
Spokeswoman Megan Brothertonsaid younger family members and other students at the Fordell education centres had done their part to support Relay For Life by taking part in a mini walkathon and bikeathon at the preschool on Wednesday, March 20.
"It was an opportunity for them to get involved," Brotherton said.
"It's a big ask to have the littlies at Relay For Life. This is a chance for them to be involved in a healthy activity and support a good cause."
