The development squad of the West Coast Bombers club the Stealth Bombers had a good Saturday in Levin with victory over the B team of Nelson Bays club Sirens of Smash.
The match up was held as part of a four derby games event, organised by the Whenua Fatales Club,at the Horowhenua Events Centres.
Bombers member Emma Camden, aka Crystal Crush-Her, said it was a nail-biter of a game, with the scoreline never being less than a 2-3 point difference until the last two jams.
The Stealth Bombers then pulled away for a 30-point victory, winning 182-152.
"Sonic Blaster won MVJ (Most Valuable Jammer) and Blocker Blaster [won] MVB," Camden said.
"Many thanks to the Fatales for such a great event, all the NSO's and refs that helped out and a massive thank you for our wonderful bench crew, Riot and Patch."
