Jackson Campbell, seen here scoring against Bay of Plenty, will be in the Wanganui Development XV for their match with Wellington Maori Development XV.

The Wanganui Toyota Development XV lineup has been chosen for the kickoff of their RDO Shield campaign against Wellington Maori Development this afternoon.

Due to wet conditions on Spriggens Park where the Air Chathams Wanganui Under 18's are playing Horowhenua Kapiti U18, and wanting to keep the Cooks Gardens pitch intact for the Mitre 10 Heartland Championship game, the Development match has been moved to the City College rugby ground.

Following a fortnight gap between games, Development coach Jerome McCrea and his staff have made a handful of changes from the squad that defeated the Hawke's Bay Under 19's 38-27 in Palmerston North.

Jaye Flaws takes the centre position outside of Troy Brown, with Josaia Bogileka moving back to the bench.

After playing 30 minutes for Steelform Wanganui against Wairarapa Bush two weeks ago, Bryn Hudson takes the No 8 role as he continues his comeback, while Jackson Campbell also played that match and will turn out at lock.

Having been unable to train with the Wanganui senior team this week due to out-of-town work, prop Viki Tofa will start off the bench, where fellow squad member Cade Robinson is also bracketed.

Two reserve backs have yet to be announced, likely to be confirmed once Wanganui senior squad members Craig Clare and Kaveni Dabenaise have completed fitness tests this morning, given Ethan Robinson and Tyler Rogers-Holden are on standby to join the bench for the Heartland game.

Kickoff for the Development XV is at 12.30pm, followed by Wanganui vs South Canterbury at 2.30pm at Cooks Gardens.
