A Whanganui liquor store has been targeted in an alleged aggravated robbery, with the offenders fleeing the scene.
Police were called to a report of aggravated robbery at the Bottle-O store on Polson St, Castlecliff, soon after 6pm yesterday.
No injuries were reported, and the offenders fled in a vehicle.
The police are continuing to investigate.
Aggravated robbery is defined as a robbery committed by more than one person, or with a weapon, or in which a victim suffers grievous bodily harm.
