Mataamua Tawaroa, a missing 20-year-old Whanganui women.

Police are asking for help from the public to find a missing Whanganui woman.

Mataamua Tawaroa, 20, is a female, Maori, approximately 170cm tall, with dark hair.

She was last seen by her family at home in Whanganui on Saturday, March 12.

Police have concerns for her welfare and ask that anyone who sees her contact them immediately.

If you have any information on Ms Tawaroa's whereabouts, please contact the Whanganui Police Station on 06 349 0600.
