Andy Jarden - Regional Manager

Andy has 'ink in his veins' working for the company in various roles since he joined the Napier Daily Telegraph in 1976 as an accountant before moving on to sales, print, and management roles, currently Regional Manager, based in Wanganui. Outside of work, Andy runs a 100 acre deer farm, and enjoys the outdoors in his leisure time, including hunting, fishing, and horse trekking

Mark Dawson - Editor

Hailing from Yorkshire in the north of England, Mark has over 40 years experience in the newspaper industry. His career as a journalist began on community papers in Britain and spread to regional and national publications before he moved to New Zealand in 1999. He has worked in Invercargill, Wellington and most recently as an award-winning editor in the Bay of Plenty before taking over the reins at the Chronicle in 2013. Married with three children, in his quiet moments he enjoys music, movies and sport.

Anna Wallis - Deputy Editor

Deputy editor Anna Wallis has worked in print and radio in New Zealand and Britain. She is from Karioi, near Ohakune and was educated at Ohakune Primary School and Wanganui Girls College.

Alison Hollard - Advertising Manager

Alison (Ali) started with the Wanganui Chronicle in 2003. She progressed through various positions such as retail consultant, and Business Development and Promotions manager. Ali left in Nov 2006 and had two little girls. Isabella and Zoe. She then returned as Advertising manager in April 2010. She loves her role here is her home town of Wanganui, and loves the fantastic team of people she works with. Ali is known for her love of animals, "Wanganui is a fantastic place to live and work. We have a lifestyle block with kune kune piglets, lambs, baby fallow deer, and even wild goats"

Gené Toyne - Features Manager

Gené has been part of the Wanganui Chronicle Advertising Department since 1998 and in her current role since 2004. Working in the Features Team she finds is always very exhilarating and challenging, but worth all the hard yards to see the finished product. Over the years they have produced some fantastic features and publications.

Kim Hildred - Distribution Manager

Kim is an avid newspaper reader who has worked in a variety of roles and newspaper sites since starting as a subscriptions telemarketer in Palmerston North in 1998. Kim particularly enjoys the distribution side of newspapers as it requires a good blend of both logistical and people skills. Outside of work, Kim is a passionate badminton player, who would play every day if she could.

Sandra Rickey - Promotion & Retail Sales Co-ordinator

Sandra has worked for the Wanganui Chronicle since July 2010. Her first position was looking after all Retailers as well as coordinating Events & Promotions. She now organises and manages Events and Promotions as well as running her regular Reader Rewards and Clip and Win competitions. She finds her job extremely rewarding as its all about raising funds for local charities and our 'Literacy in the Home' programme. After hours you will find her cooking up a storm and spending time with her son, animals and friends
