Visitors flocked to First Vets on Glasgow St for their open day on Saturday.
Vet Nicola King said she estimates about 300 visitors took tours of the practice.
"I was taking tour groups through so I didn't get to see everyone but there were a lot of people outside with
their dogs and the children were enjoying the bouncy castle.
"We had a lot of great feedback from everyone who enjoyed seeing the operations out the back and the area we have renovated in the old Equippers Church out the back housed business reps and the Kotuku Foundation with their medical assist dogs.
"It was a great day and the weather was kind."
